TEDDY'S STORY

In December 2021, Teddy's life took an unexpected turn. To distract herself from the challenges she was facing, she turned to travel hacking. At the time, she was juggling two jobs, earning only $9 an hour as an intern, while also working night shifts at Publix to make ends meet. Despite the financial strain and relying on government assistance, Teddy was determined to pursue her passion for travel.

While finishing her bachelor's degree in finance, which had been delayed due to her circumstances, Teddy spent her limited free time researching ways to travel on an extreme budget. It became her coping mechanism, a beacon of hope amid the storm.

After six months of meticulous planning, Teddy managed to secure a less than $100 plane ticket to Europe, a month of free stays, and saved enough money for a three-week group travel trip for young adults. She spent two incredible months exploring Europe, returning with stories that amazed her friends and family.

When asked how she could afford such an adventure, Teddy shared her travel hacks, leaving everyone in awe. Realizing that many people wanted to travel but believed it was too expensive, she was inspired to launch Travel Hacker Teddy (THT). Through THT, Teddy aims to empower others to explore the world affordably, sharing her knowledge and passion for budget travel.
